
Colts Goaltender Recognized by the OHL

Barrie, ON- The Ontario Hockey League today announced that Barrie Colts goaltender Andrew Perugini has been named the OHL Goaltender of the Month for December.
Perugini currently leads all goaltenders this season with 25 wins including seven which he recorded during nine starts in the month of December. He also posted a 2.19 goals against average and .940 save percentage during the month, and was particularly outstanding in a 2-1 shootout victory December 13 in Owen Sound. In this game, Perugini amassed a career-high 53 saves in regulation and turned aside all three Attack players in the shootout in recording the victory.
The native of King City, ON has made starts in 32 of 37 Colts games this season and has also recorded the third best save percentage among goaltenders, currently at .920.
