San Angelo Colts News Release
San Angelo, TX--The Roadrunners have taken a 2-0 lead after the 1st inning in the previous 3 ballgames. Tonight, after 1 inning it was scoreless. However, after the 2nd inning was a different story. The Roadrunners used back to back homeruns by Aaron Sisk and Eric Gonzalez to propel themselves to a 6-0 lead. Sisk hit a 3-run shot, his 4th in 4 games against San Angelo off of starter Luis Salazar, who did not make it out of the 2nd inning. The Colts for the 2nd time this series saw a starter unable to make it out of the 2nd frame and tonight were unable to catch up. Jason Sena pitched very well in relief, going the final 7 1/3 innings without giving up an earned run, but it was in a losing effort. Sisk hit his 7th homer of the season, while Gonzalez hit his 3rd. Eric Montoya pitched 7 quality innings to pick up his 5th win of the season. He struck out 5 in the win, while scattering 7 hits. Juan Rocha, Eddie Gerald, and Sean Bischofberger were each 2-4 for the Colts. Anthony Angel led the Roadrunners with a 3-4 evening including a double.
