San Angelo, Texas---The Colts suffered their third straight loss in the North American League playoffs, falling 12-4 to the WhiteWings. The Colts now trail the playoff series 3-0, facing elimination games from here on out.

The Colts started off on the right foot taking an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first. Ronnie Gaines (1) hit a leadoff homerun for the Colts proving he was missed in the first two games at Rio Grande. Colts starter Logan Williamson kept that lead until the top of the third.

The WhiteWings went on a stretch of four unanswered runs from the third through the fifth innings to take a 4-1 lead. Ronnie Gaines came into score in the bottom half of the fifth off of a two out RBI single by Cory Patton to make it 4-2. The Colts hung around until the WhiteWings exploded in the seventh. The Wings scored seven runs on seven hits, highlighted by two homeruns and a triple in the top half of the seventh making the score 12-3 through seven.

Rio Grande went on to win the contest 12-4 Thursday night at Foster Field. The Colts host the Wings Friday night at 7:05 p.m. in an elimination game. Right-hander Brian Henschel (7-8, 5.03) will go for the Colts, while the WhiteWings will send out righty Julio Castro ( 3-1, 2.05) to the hill in Game 4.
