
Colorado stops Extreme at U.S. Cellular Coliseum

Bloomington Extreme News Release
Quarterback Garrett Mehl completed 13 of 26 passes for 167 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Colorado Ice to a 43-23 victory in United Indoor Football League action over the Bloomington Extreme before 4,545 people at U.S. Cellular Coliseum on Friday.
Mehl also rushed for 48 yards on seven carries as the Ice earned its first victory of the season against two losses. George Hill caught four passes for 74 yards and two touchdowns.
The Extreme's record dropped to 1-3 ahead of a road game at Wichita State on April 5. Andre Raymond scored two touchdowns for the Extreme on runs of 2 and 5 yards. The Extreme's other touchdown came on a 45-yard pass interception return by Dion Brown.
Peter Christofilakos had a 42-yard field goal. Quarterback Dusty Burk completed 15 off 22 passes for 127 yards, but no touchdowns.
