Colorado Mammoth Announces 2023-24 NLL Schedule

DENVER - The National Lacrosse League (NLL) announced its 2023-24 regular season schedule today, with the Colorado Mammoth set to open the season on Dec. 9 in Georgia against the Swarm.

With the NLL league office announcing changes to its competition format for the approaching campaign, the former East and West conferences are no more, as each of the NLL's 15 teams will now be ranked courtesy of a unified standings format.

Colorado is now slated to compete against all 14 teams during the 2023-24 slate, plus four additional "flex" games that preserve established rivalries and fan interest, showcase games with impactful storylines and highlight star player matchups.

The new schedule and standings format will allow the NLL to definitively showcase its continental reach as a truly North American league, now allowing west coast pillars in the Vancouver Warriors to battle it out with the beasts of the east in the Buffalo Bandits, Toronto Rock and beyond.

In addition to challenging each of the league's squads this year, Colorado will endure two contests this season against the Georgia Swarm (Dec. 9 and Dec. 22), Vancouver Warriors (Dec. 30 and Jan. 26), Buffalo Bandits (Jan. 6 and April 5) and San Diego Seals (Jan. 13 and Feb. 4).

Initially revealing its 2023-24 home opener at the LOUD HOUSE last week (Friday, Dec. 22 inside Ball Arena), the team is set to host the Georgia Swarm just two weeks after beginning the season inside Georgia's barn on Saturday, Dec. 9 at 5:30 p.m. MT.

While the NLL's 2023-24 Faceoff Weekend (Week 1) is set to take place Dec. 1-2, Colorado will begin the season with a bye week, allowing the team to recover from what's expected to be one of the team's most competitive training camp sessions in recent history.
