Colorado Crush News Release
Fort Collins, CO - The Colorado Ice are proud to announce that the 2012 Open Tryout this past weekend was a success. One contract has been offered after reviewing the stats and performance of all the participants.
With 25 hopefuls at the tryout the Ice staff came away knowing that Colorado has some talented athletes looking for a shot to show their abilities. From former indoor football players to military service members the talent was evident on Saturday.
Coach O'Neal commented, "In my years of coaching I have never had this many talented athletes come out and I wish we could give out more contracts."
The Indoor Football League (IFL) allows for 40 players on a teams' preseason roster and at the end of camp each team will have only 25 players on their rosters. This will be a very competitive year for players wanting to make rosters in the IFL.
The Colorado Ice are proud members of the Indoor Football League (IFL). All home games are played on Majestic Roofing Field at the Budweiser Events Center located in Loveland, Colorado. 2012 Season Ticket information is available by contacting the Colorado Ice offices at (970) 472-0128.
