Last Week's Games:
(Friday, Jan. 22nd @ Rapid City) Eagles forward Johnny Lazo notched two goals and an assist, while fellow forward Darryl Bootland notched a goal and two assists, as the Eagles overwhelmed the Rapid City Rush 5-1 at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center on Friday. Eric Levine was solid in net for Colorado, making 17 saves on 18 shots and improving his record with the Eagles to 7-3-0.
(Saturday, Jan. 23rd @ Rapid City) Colorado netted a sweep of their two-game series at Rapid City with a 4-2 over the Rush on Saturday. Eagles goaltender Clarke Saunders turned aside 22 of the 24 shots he faced in the contest, while also picking up a pair of assists. Four different Eagles registered a goal in the contest, as the Eagles outshot Rapid City 35-24 on the evening.

This Week:
(Wednesday, Jan. 27th vs. Utah, 7:05pm MST) Colorado faces the Utah Grizzlies for the sixth time this season, with Utah having carried the season series with a record of 5-0-0 against Colorado. Colorado enters Wednesday's meeting having won seven of their last eight home games and three straight games, overall.
(Friday, Jan. 29th vs. Alaska, 7:05pm MST) The Eagles welcome in the Alaska Aces for the first time at the Budweiser Events Center this season. The Aces won two out of three games played in Anchorage in early December with Colorado starting an emergency back-up goaltender in all three of those contests.
(Saturday, Jan. 30th vs. Alaska, 7:05pm MST) Colorado enters this week's action with several players riding hot streaks as of late. Captain Trent Daavettila is 2nd in the ECHL with 42 points this season and has registered 33 points in his last 25 games. Forward Johnny Lazo has scored three goals in his last two games and has six points in his first six games with the Eagles. Fellow forwards Everett Sheen and Darryl Bootland have also been playing great hockey, with Sheen posting points in four straight games, while Bootland has scored a goal in two straight and four of his last five games, overall.
