The Pittsfield Colonials were upended 9-5 in 11 innings by the Brockton Rox at Campanelli Stadium in Brockton, Massachusetts on Sunday evening.

Brockton second baseman Scott Wearne (2-for-4, GS, 4 RBI) belted a walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the 11th inning to propel the home team past the Colonials. Rox reliever Hunter Davis (1-1) earned the win pitching the final inning of the game without allowing a run. Starting pitcher Mike Wlodarczyk took a no-decision after dealing eight innings and giving-up five runs with eight strike-outs.

Colonials' relief pitcher Reymond Cruz (0-2) suffered the loss conceding the winning run after pitching one and one-third innings out of the bullpen. Starter Miguel Flores also factored in a no-decision, allowing three runs on six hits over seven and one-third innings.

Pittsfield left fielder Rafael Cabreja (2-for-5, 2B, 3 RBI) led the attack with a three run double in the game for the visitors. Colonials' right fielder Dan Carte (0-for-3, BB, HBP) saw his Can-Am League record hitting streak end at 30 games, as he was hitless on the night.

The Colonials will play game two of the series at Brockton's Campanelli Stadium on Monday at 7:05pm. Scheduled to start for Pittsfield is right-hander Patrick Moran (0-1). He'll go against Brockton's Freddy Flores (5-0).
