
Colonials Drubbed 19-3 by Capitales

Quebec, QC - The Pittsfield Colonials were downed19-3 by the Quebec Capitales at Stade Municipal in Quebec City on Wednesday evening.
Colonials' starter Kyle Zaleski (7-5) suffered the loss going four innings allowing eight runs on nine hits, two walks, and three strike-outs.
Quebec starting pitcher Matthew Rusch (11-1) earned the win over six innings of work giving-up one run on eight hits, two walks, and four strike-outs.
The Capitales were led by catcher Pierre-Luc LaForest (4-for-5, 2B, HR, 4 RBI) who homered and drove in four runs. Third baseman Michael Thompson (3-for-4, HR, 4 RBI) blasted a three run homer and also drove-in four runs while teammates Ivan Naccaratta (2-for-4, 3B, 3 RBI) and Sebastain Boucher (2-for-4, 3 RBI) each knocked-in three runs.
The Colonials will complete the series with the Capitales on Thursday night at Stade Municipal when Johnny Venters (1-3) takes the ball against Quebec's Michel Simard (6-5) at 7:05pm.
