MONTGOMERY, AL - Alex Colome hurled a complete-game, one-hit shutout as the Biscuits (23-22) blanked the Mobile BayBears (30-14) 6-0 in game one before mustering only three hits in a 4-1 loss in game two.

Colome (2-1) pitch all seven innings in the opener, striking out two and walking two, allowing only a second inning Taylor Harbin single. A four-run fifth inning keyed the offensive effort, with Cole Figueroa driving home two with a triple and Henry Wrigley cranking a two-run homer on his 25th birthday.

The second game saw Kyler Newby (8-1) dominate the Biscuits, giving up only two hits and one run on a John Shelby groundout in the second over his five innings. Mike DeMark (9) worked a perfect seventh for the save.

Nick Barnese (6-6) suffered the loss in game two, with the BayBears jumping on him for two in the first inning and three total on six hits over five innings.

Wrigley and Isaias Velasquez led the Biscuits with two hits on the night.

The Biscuits have Wednesday off before starting a five-game set with the Carolina Mudcats Thursday at 6:15. Jim Paduch will oppose Carolina righty James Avery in the opener.
