Colombia and Ecuador to Feature in Three-Match Series at Red Bull Arena in October

HARRISON, NJ (September 30, 2014) - Red Bull Arena will host four national teams, headlined by Colombia and Ecuador, in three matches with a game on October 10 and a doubleheader on October 14.

Colombia will open up the series on October 10 at 8:00 PM when it faces El Salvador. Four days later on October 14, Ecuador will open up the doubleheader against El Salvador at 7:00 PM before Colombia faces Canada.

Tickets for the matches will go on sale today. New York Red Bulls Season Ticket Holders and partners will be able to access an exclusive one-hour presale window to purchase tickets at 3:00 PM. Partial plan members, supporters and Red Bulls Training Programs participants may purchase tickets beginning at 4:00 PM. Tickets go on sale to the general public today at 5:00 PM by calling 1.877.727.6223 or by logging onto tickets.newyorkredbulls.com.

Colombia comes to the New York/New Jersey area after exciting soccer fans all over the globe before losing to Brazil in the quarterfinals at the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The team, coached by Argentine Jose Pekerman, features some of the brightest stars in the world including Radamel Falcao Garcia (Manchester United), James Rodriguez (Real Madrid) and Juan Guillmero Cuadrado (Fiorentina).

Ecuador finished with four points in three games at the World Cup this summer in Brazil. The team is led by Luis Antonio Valencia (Manchester United/England), Cristhian Noboa (Dynamo Moscow/Russia) and Enner Valencia, who scored three goals in Brazil and recently signed for West Ham in England.

El Salvador recently finished fourth in the 2014 Copa Centroamericana and thus qualified to the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup. The Central Americans are coached by Spaniard Albert Roca.

Canada is currently preparing for the 2015 Gold Cup and features Simeon Jackson (Coventry City/England) and Atiba Hutchinson (Besiktas/Turkey).
