College Park Skyhawks Announce Key Dates for Inaugural Season

COLLEGE PARK, GA - The College Park Skyhawks, the official G League affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks, announced today that the team's training camp will begin on Monday, Oct. 28 as the team prepares for the 2019-20 season. Camp will run from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Oct. 29 and 30, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 31. Camp will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Nov. 4, prior to the team's first annual Media Day at State Farm Arena beginning at 1 p.m.

Training camp practices are closed to the public and media interested in attending should arrive at State Farm Arena's practice court 15 minutes prior to practice ending for media availability with Head Coach Noel Gillespie and players. Media members who want to attend Media Day should RSVP to alli.ehrhardt@cpskyhawks.com. Parking and access instructions will be sent upon confirmation of RSVP.

Additionally, the Skyhawks will have five selections in the 2019 NBA G League Draft, taking place on Saturday, Oct. 26. College Park has two first-round picks (11th overall and 13th overall) as well as one selection in the second round and two in the fourth round. The Draft begins at 1 p.m., and NBAGLeague.com, the NBA G League App and @NBAGLeague social platforms will provide live coverage on draft day, including pick-by-pick results. Media interested in speaking to players selected by the Skyhawks should send requests to alli.ehrhardt@cpskyhawks.com.

The Skyhawks tip off the season on Nov. 8, taking on the Erie BayHawks on the road. College Park takes its home court for the first time on Nov. 21 against the Delaware Blue Coats.
