College Park Skyhawks Acquire Anthony Brown and 2019 First Round Draft Pick from Lakeland

COLLEGE PARK - The College Park Skyhawks acquired the returning player rights to Anthony Brown and a 2019 1st first round G League draft pick from the Lakeland Magic in exchange for the returning player rights of Isaac Humphries, it was announced today. The trade is not subject to a physical.

In 26 games with Lakeland in the 2018-19 season, Brown, a 6'7" guard out of Stanford, averaged 12.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.0 steals in 16 starts (.414 FG%, .346 3FG%, .811 FT%), playing 29.0 minutes. In addition to Brown, the Skyhawks acquired a first-draft pick in upcoming 2019 G League Draft (via Sioux Falls).

Humphries played in 46 games for the Erie BayHawks in the 2018-19 season, averaging 11.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.0 blocks (.536 FG%, .662 FT%) in 21.8 minutes. Humphries, a center from University of Kentucky, signed with the Atlanta Hawks for the remainder of the season on April 1, 2019 and appeared in five contests.

The Skyhawks tip off the season on the road on Nov. 8, facing off against the Erie BayHawks, the former G League affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks. College Park returns home to take on the Delaware Blue Coats on Nov. 21, marking the first time the team plays at the Gateway Center Arena @ College Park. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. (EST).
