Coleman and Wallin Will Join Forces at NCAA Division I UMass-Amherst

ST CLOUD, Minn. - In the fall of 2025, Norsemen forward Michael Coleman, will travel east to begin his collegiate career.
On May 8th, Coleman made his verbal commitment to play NCAA Division I hockey at the storied program that is the University of Massachusetts.
In the NAHL, the 6 '0 goal scorer used his speed to record 25 goals and 25 assists, where STC fell short of the North American Hockey League Playoffs.
Coleman will be joining fellow teammate and Mr Hockey Finalist, Rhys Wallin (Wayzata, Minn./Wayzata H.S.), he spent a short stint in the NAHL recording two goals in five games after concluding his high school hockey season.
The two freshmen are excited to find their way and make an impact for Greg Carvel's Minuteman squad.
In 2024, the University of Massachusetts-Amherst Minuteman finished with a 20-14-3 and a 12-10-2 record in the Hockey East.
The Minuteman would advance to the NCAA Northeast Region in Springfield, Mass. before falling to the eventual national champion the Denver Pioneers.
Next season, the team will open regular season action on October 5, as they face a road test against Bentley University before returning home to host the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) for an exhibition matchup on Oct. 6 at the Mullins Center.
