Cobras Hold Community Events Surrounding 2004 Home Finale

CHARLOTTE – The Carolina Cobras will hold a number of community events in the week surrounding the club's 2004 home season finale on Saturday, May 22 against the Grand Rapids Rampage.

WHAT: Cobras Host Youth at Celebration Station
WHERE: Celebration Station 10400 Cadillac St., Pineville
WHEN: Thursday, May 20
TIME: 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
DETAILS: Cobras players will host residents of youth group homes from the Charlotte area for an evening of fun and food at the family-friendly amusement center. All local youth are also invited to join in the day's festivities as pl ayers will be on hand to sign autographs and visit with everyone in attendance.

WHAT: Junior Cheerleading Clinic
WHERE: Sports Warehouse 10930 Granite St.
WHEN: Saturday, May 22
TIME: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
DETAILS: The Cobras and the Snake Charmers will hold a clinic for nearly 100 local youths that will include a variety of instructive exercises. All participants will also be taught a routine which they will perform on-field halftime of the Cobras game that evening at the Charlotte Coliseum.

WHAT: Charlotte Post Football Clinic
WHERE: Charlotte Coliseum
WHEN: Sunday, May 23
TIME: 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
DETAILS: Cobras coaches and players will host 50 local members of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program in a clinic that will feature football skill instruction as well as on conditioning and life skills.
