Clippers to Host 5K and Kids Run

Columbus, Ohio - The Clippers will host the first "Columbus Clippers 5K Run" at Cooper Stadium on Saturday, April 5th.

The race begins outside Cooper Stadium and finishes at home plate inside the ballpark.

All participants will receive a general admission ticket to the Clippers game later that evening against Charlotte (7:05pm). Pre-registered runners will get an authentic Clippers 5K t-shirt.

The top three male and female finishers in every age group (14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over) will receive a medal and a Clippers Gift Certificate. The first overall male and female finishers will receive and prize and the opportunity to throw out the first pitch at the game.

The entry fee is $20 before the day of the race and $25 on the day of the race. A race team of four can register for $70 before the day of the race and $80 on the day of the race.

Packet pick up will be available at Fleet Feet Sports starting Wednesday, April 1st at 12:00pm until Friday, April 4th at 2:00pm. Fleet Feet Sports is located off Polaris Parkway at 1174 E. Powell Rd. Lewis Center, OH 43035.

There will be a free kids fun run of approximately ¼ of a mile, one lap around the field inside Cooper Stadium. All registration for the kid's run will be handled on race morning (April 5th), there will be no pre-race registration available.
