
Cleveland Cavaliers Re-Assign Kevin Jones to NBA D-League Affiliate Canton Charge

NEW YORK, Feb. 28, 2013 - The Cleveland Cavaliers today re-assigned rookie forward Kevin Jones to the Canton Charge, Cleveland's NBA Development League affiliate. The assignment is the fourth of Jones' career and the record 129th of the 2012-13 NBA and NBA D-League seasons. Jones is one of the record 53 players to have been assigned to the NBA D-League this season.
Jones (6-8, 260, West Virginia) has appeared in 18 games for Cleveland this season, averaging 2.1 points, 1.8 rebounds and 9.3 minutes. During his earlier stints with Canton this season, Jones appeared in seven games, averaging 23.0 points, 12.6 rebounds and 39.7 minutes.
Jones is expected to join Canton today and be available when the team hosts the Idaho Stampede at 11 a.m. ET.
