Rome, GA - Right-handed pitcher Chris Vines has been placed on the disabled list retroactive to June 4th. Vines is 5-2 with a 4.39 ERA and was selected to the 2006 South Atlantic League All Star team. The Braves conclude their home stand tonight against Augusta at 7 o'clock. For ticket information call the Rome Braves ticket office at 706-378-5144. Rome hits the road for an eight game stretch traveling to Columbus and Augusta before returning to State Mutual Stadium on Friday June 16th.
