Chivas USA Will Host Second 'Practice in the Community' Event

CARSON, Calif. (Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013) - Chivas USA will host their second "Practice in the Community" event on Wednesday, Nov. 13, at the Bell Gardens Sports complex beginning at 5 p.m. (PT) in conjunction with the city of Bell Gardens Recreation and Community Services Department. The event will mark the second of its kind during the 2013 campaign, as the Red-and-White held their first open soccer clinic and training session on Aug. 28. In addition, the newly-appointed members of the Bell Gardens City Council will also be in attendance.

Youngsters ranging from ages 6 to 14 will have the opportunity to sharpen their skills by joining the Red-and-White's Youth Development Academy coaches in a free clinic. Afterwards, the fans in attendance will have the opportunity to watch Chivas USA's final training session of the 2013 season, as the team prepares to close out their campaign against FC Tucson on Friday, Nov. 15. Along with the First-Team practice, fans will be able to interact with the ChivaFighter, as well as enjoy a variety of activities on display by sponsors in attendance.

The training session is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. (PT), and upon its conclusion, players will be available to sign autographs and take photos with the fans in attendance.
