Chivas USA ready for Osasuna

CARSON, Calif. (Tuesday, March 22, 2005) - Chivas USA will play its first ever exhibition game at The Home Depot Center this Saturday, March 26 at 7:00 p.m. PT against Spanish First Division side Osasuna. The match features not only the California debut of the Copa del Rey semifinalists, coached by former Mexican national team player and head coach Javier Aguirre, but also the official presentation of Club Deportivo Chivas USA's game jersey for the 2005 season.

At midweek, Chivas USA travels to the border city of Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico, where it will play an exhibition match against Chivas' archrival Club América of the Mexican First Division. This game will be played at the Estadio Olímpico Benito Juarez on Wednesday March 23, 2005 at 8:00 p.m. Mountain Time (7:00 p.m. PT). Both this week's matches will be broadcast in Spanish on Radiovisa 830 AM, with play-by-play by John Laguna and color commentary by Mario Valadez.

Chivas USA opens its inaugural season at home on Saturday, April 2 when it faces Freddy Adu and MLS Cup champion D.C. United at The Home Depot Center.
