Club Deportivo Chivas USA News Release

CARSON, Calif. (Tuesday, April 13, 2010) - A pair of Chivas USA players will miss time after suffering injuries in the Red-and-White's 2-0 victory over the New York Red Bulls on Saturday, as defender Ante Jazic has suffered a right knee sprain, while forward Maykel Galindo has a sprained left ankle.

Jazic left the Saturday's match in the 39th minute after spraining the medial collateral ligament (MCL) in his right knee. The injury will not require surgery, and the Canadian international looks to miss roughly 4-6 weeks. Forward Maykel Galindo, who entered the match in minute 58 but had to leave 19 minutes later, sprained his left ankle and could miss up to two weeks with the injury.

Chivas USA travels to face the Houston Dynamo this Saturday, April 17 at 1:00 p.m. PT (3:00 p.m. CT) in a match that will be broadcast live on Prime Ticket, TeleFutura, and W Radio 690 AM.
