RiverCity Rage News Release

St. Charles, MO - The United Indoor Football League has announced its "Players of the Week" and, once again, Rage receiver Hurtis Chinn has been honored for his play on special teams. This is the second time this season that Chinn has been awarded.

In last week's action against the Sioux Falls Storm, Chinn returned four kicks for 111 yards with a long of 38 yards. In addition, he caught three passes for 31 yards. This weekend, Chinn and the Rage head west to face the Colorado Ice Saturday evening at the Budweiser Events Center. Kickoff is 8:00 Central Time and can be heard on 100.7 FM KFNS or online at ragefootball.com.

The last time RiverCity met up with the Ice Chinn was named "Special Teams Player of the Week" as well after recording 178 all-purpose yards in the Rage's 42-35 victory over Colorado on March 9th.

The four-year starter for the Rage is at or near the top of the UIF leader board in several categories. He ranks first in kick return yardage, for the second year in a row, at 23.9 yards per return. He also ranks second in both all purpose yards per game (135.5) as well as missed field goal return average (40).

The Rage return home on Saturday, May 31st as they welcome the Bloomington Extreme to the Family Arena. Kickoff is set for 7:00 with gates opening at 6:00. The Rage have put together a new ticket campaign for underprivileged children in the area and are asking their corporate partners or individuals to purchase tickets that will in turn be donated to the Rage Children's Charities for that game.

The charities include The Ronald McDonald House, Camp Sunrise via The TL Jones Foundation, the Boys and Girls Club and YMCA. The Rage will match any donation made by their partners in an effort to reach as many children as possible. Call the Rage office at 636.946.7243 for all of the information on this exciting campaign.
