Chihuahuas Hold off Fresno 4-3

The El Paso Chihuahuas brought in four runs in the top of the third inning and held on to beat the Fresno Grizzlies 4-3 Saturday night at Chukchansi Park. The teams have split the first two games of the series.

Miguel Diaz threw four shutout innings in his first Triple-A start, including getting out of a bases loaded, one-out jam in the second. Auston Bousfield went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and has reached base multiple times in four of the first six games of the road trip.

The Chihuahuas have won four of six on their current road trip and have a 17-9 road record this year. Robert Stock struck out five batters in the final two innings and recorded his first Triple-A save.
