
Chiefs, Yankees Rained Out Sunday

Syracuse Mets News Release
Sunday's game between the Syracuse Chiefs and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees at Alliance Bank Stadium was postponed due to rain. It will be played Monday as part of a doubleheader starting at 5:00. Both games will be seven innings. Chiefs righty Yunesky Maya was scheduled to pitch against Yankees righty Adam Warren Sunday. Both will pitch in the first game tomorrow. Syracuse's Craig Stammen and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre's D.J. Mitchell will start the second contest. Gates will open at 4:30 for the doubleheader. Community Night is rescheduled for Friday when the Chiefs take on the Gwinnett Braves at 7:00. Team Photo and Autograph Night will take place Tuesday. Syracuse players and coaches will sign autographs at the stadium at 6:00 before their game with the Braves. Fans with purchased tickets for today's game can be redeemed their ticket stubs at tomorrow's game or any of the remaining 2011 regular season home games. Season ticket holders should check the back of their ticket for the unused season ticket policy.
