Game Day:
Tonight the Johnstown Chiefs (33-28-2) and the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies (34-20-8) meet for the fourth time this season. The Chiefs dropped their second straight game last night, a 4-2 loss at Cincinnati. Blair Stayzer and J.F. Boutin scored the Chiefs goals, while Frederic Deschenes made 25 saves for his 20th loss of the season. Atlantic City is coming off a 5-2 loss Wednesday night at home, to the Richmond Renegades. Jerry Keefe and Scott Matzka scored the Bullies goals, while goaltender Scott Stirling made 24 saves in the defeat.
Johnstown/Atlantic City Season Series:
This is the fourth of five games this season between the two teams. The Chiefs are 2-1-0 against Atlantic City this season, with both wins coming at the War Memorial. Each team has scored a total of 8 goals against each other in the season series. The Chiefs return to home ice tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m., when they face their in state rivals, Reading Royals. Prior to the game, the Chiefs will be receiving the Keystone Cup, as they have officially won the season series between the two teams. After the game, there will be a post game autograph and photo session with all of the Johnstown Chiefs players in the concourse.
