Chiefs and Tides' Doubleheader Washed out Tuesday in Norfolk

Both games of tonight's scheduled doubleheader between the Syracuse Chiefs and Norfolk Tides has been postponed due to unplayable field conditions after rain throughout the afternoon at Harbor Park. After a 2.5 hour delay, the field was deemed unsafe for the players to play baseball tonight. One of the games will be made up as part of a doubleheader Tuesday, July 25th at 5:05 p.m. The second game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Wednesday, July 26th at 12:05 p.m., with the second game Thursday serving as the Chiefs home game, making up for the postponed game in Syracuse on April 15th.

The updated Chiefs schedule is as follows:

Tuesday, June 25th - 5:05 p.m. doubleheder

Wednesday June 26th - 12:05 p.m. doubleheader
