
Chicago Sky Announce 2024 Preseason Schedule

CHICAGO - The Chicago Sky announced today their 2024 preseason schedule, which includes two total games during the month of May.
The Sky head to Minnesota to take on the Lynx on Saturday, May 4 at Target Center at 7:00 p.m. CST before heading back home to Chicago on Tuesday, May 7 to play against the New York Liberty at Wintrust Arena at 7:00 p.m. CST.
Sky head coach Teresa Weatherspoon played the first seven seasons of her career with New York. With the Liberty, she was named a five-time WNBA All-Star, two-time Defensive Player of the Year, four-time All-WNBA Team selection and a member of the New York Liberty Ring of Honor Inductee in 2011. She was selected by New York in the 1997 inaugural draft and helped lead the franchise to the league's first-ever Finals appearance that season. She also previously served as New York's first director of player and franchise development from 2015-19.
In 2023, the Sky went 2-1 in preseason games against Minnesota in Toronto, Canada, at Dallas and against Indiana at home.
The Chicago Sky tip off the 2024 regular-season on Wednesday, May 15 against Dallas at College Park Center in Arlington at 7:00 p.m. CST. The regular season home opener is Saturday, May 25 against the Connecticut Sun at 7:00 p.m. at Wintrust Arena. The Sky's first Commissioner's Cup Game of the season is on June 4 at home against New York at 7:00 p.m. CST.
