
Chicago Fire Midfielder Aleksandar Katai Called up to Serbia Men's National Team

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. - Chicago Fire midfielder Aleksandar Katai has been called up to the Serbia Men's National Team for a pair of UEFA Euro 2020 Qualifiers.
Katai, 28, will join the Serbia Men's National team on Friday, June 7 for their away match against Ukraine at 1:45 p.m. CT at Arena Lviv. The team will then return home to Red Star Stadium for a match against Lithuania on Monday, June 10 at 1:45 p.m. CT.
Katai has earned six caps for the Serbia Men's National team since his debut in 2015, scoring one goal in a 3-0 win over Moldova on October 6, 2016. In the 2019 MLS season, Katai, who has notched three goals and a team-high four assists, currently leads the team in shots (45) and shots on target (14).
