CHICAGO FIRE vs. NEW YORK RED BULLS

- The Fire are 1-3-1 at Red Bull Arena.

- Fire head coach Frank Yallop will have forward Quincy Amarikwa at his disposal for the match against the Red Bulls. Amarikwa, who leads the team with four goals this season, missed the May 3 clash against Real Salt Lake while serving a one-match suspension for a red card he received against the New England Revolution on April 19.

- Reigning MLS MVP Mike Magee's strike in the 22nd minute against Real Salt Lake catapulted him into 13th place on the club's all-time goal scoring leader chart with 17 career goals, tied with Hristo Stoitchkov, for the Men in Red. Magee reached the milestone in just 27 matches.

- Magee was the fourth overall selection in the 2003 MLS SuperDraft by the then New York/New Jersey MetroStars after a two-year stay at the U.S. Soccer Residency program in Bradenton, Fla. Magee made his professional debut and became the youngest player in New York history at the time at 18 years, 222 days on April 12, 2003 vs. the Columbus Crew. Over six seasons with the New York side, Magee made 130 regular season appearances and scored 23 goal and notched 13 assists.

- Fire assistant coach Clint Mathis joined the MetroStars in a trade from the LA Galaxy on May 11, 2000. That season, Mathis scored 13 goals and added 13 assists in 21 regular season matches. On Aug. 26, he set the MLS record that still stands today after scoring five goals in a 6-4 win over the Dallas Burn.

- In 2000, Mathis was named a MLS All-Star, a member of the MLS Best XI and was named a finalist for the MLS MVP award. Mathis added three goals and two assists in five playoff matches for the MetroStars before they fell to the Fire in the Eastern Conference Championships.

- In the subsequent three seasons with the MetroStars, Mathis appeared in 46 games, scored 20 goals and added eight assists before signing with German Bundesliga side Hannover 96 in advance of the 2004 season.

- A product of Montville, N.J., Fire midfielder Dilly Duka came up through the New York Red Bulls Academy system before matriculating to Rutgers University.
