CHICAGO -- Chicago Fire FC announced today that midfielder Przemysław Frankowski has been called up to the Poland National Team for a pair of 2020-21 UEFA Nations League matches.

Competing in Group 1 in League A, Poland will face the Netherlands at the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam on Friday, Sept. 4 at 1:45 p.m. CT. Three days later, Poland will take on Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Bilino Polje Stadium in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina at 1:45 p.m. CT.

Frankowski, 25, has earned 10 caps for Poland, including six appearances (two starts) in UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying. The midfielder's first career goal for the senior team occurred in Poland's Euro 2020 qualifying match against North Macedonia on Oct. 13, 2019. Moments after entering the game, Frankowski scored to give Poland a 1-0 lead and helped guide the team to a 2-0 victory. With the win, Poland clinched a berth in the Euros.
