
Chicago Fire-Celtic FC Friendly to Air Live on Fox Soccer Channel

BRIDGEVIEW, IL (July 13, 2007) - Chicago Fire Soccer has announced that Fox Soccer Channel will air the club's upcoming international friendly against Scottish Premier League side Celtic FC on July 22 at TOYOTA PARK, with kick-off slated for a 3:00 p.m. CT start.
In the booth for the call that day will be Dave Johnson and analyst Christopher Sullivan, along with Mark Rogondino for the day's event. Fox Soccer Channel has announced that it will telecast a total of four live, exclusive summer friendly matches pitting some of the world's top clubs against Major League Soccer (MLS) teams - and each other - on North American soil this summer.
On Wednesday, Chicago Fire Soccer announced that forward Cuauhtémoc Blanco, the Fire's Designated Player signing, will soon return from his run in Copa America with the Mexican National Team to make his much-anticipated Chicago Fire debut for the Celtic FC match-up at TOYOTA PARK. The 34-year-old attacker has been with the Mexican National Team after closing out his career with Mexican First Division side, Club América.
