Chicago Fire And Club America Announce Match Date At Toyota Park

BRIDGEVIEW, ILL (Feb. 20, 2009) - The Chicago Fire of Major League Soccer and Club America of the Mexican Primera Division today announced that the first game of their home-and-home series will be played at TOYOTA PARK on Wednesday, April 29 at 7:30 p.m. CT. Details about the Fire's away match against Club America at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City will be announced at a later date.

"The Chicago Fire is pleased to offer fans an opportunity to watch their hometown team face one of the most storied clubs from the Mexican First Division, as well as see one of the Fire's star players, Cuauhtémoc Blanco, face his former team, Club America" said Fire President Dave Greeley. "The Fire's goal is to bring fans exciting soccer games and through international friendly matches such as this, we look to create even more memorable experiences for our fans at TOYOTA PARK."
