SANDY, Utah (Friday, Feb. 20, 2009) - Real Salt Lake Owner and SCP Worldwide Founder and Chairman Dave Checketts issued the following statement regarding Friday's passing of Utah Jazz Owner Larry H. Miller:
"On behalf of my wife Deb and our entire family, I would like to express our condolences and extend thoughts and prayers to Gail Miller and her entire family. Larry's love of basketball and commitment to keeping the Jazz in Salt Lake paved the way for professional sports in our community. His dedication and determination contributed mightily to the sports and entertainment fabric of the great state of Utah."
