
Chicago Fire Acquire 2014 MLS SuperDraft Pick from Columbus Crew

CHICAGO, Ill. (Thursday, December 12, 2013) - The Chicago Fire Soccer Club announced Thursday that the club has traded the rights to midfielder Daniel Paladini to the Columbus Crew in exchange for the Crew's fourth round (61st overall) selection in the 2014 MLS SuperDraft.
A product of Northridge, Calif., Paladini departs Chicago after three seasons with the Men in Red. Signed from NASL side Carolina Railhawks on Jan. 11, 2011, Paladini scored four goals and added six assists across 58 MLS Regular Season matches for the Fire.
