
Chattanooga Stymied by Pensacola in 5-2 Defeat

The Chattanooga Lookouts jumped out to an early 1-0 lead, but eventually dropped the third game of the series by a score of 5-2.
Starting pitcher Ricky Salinas pitched well but took his first loss of the year. The right-hander only allowed three runs in five innings while striking out seven batters.
Pensacola jumped out to a lead in the third when J.J. Bleday belted a two-run homer, his fifth of the year.
Chattanooga cut the lead down to one on a Leonardo Rivas RBI single, but could not complete the comeback.
Tomorrow, top prospect Hunter Greene takes the mound for the home team. So far this season Greene has been lights out, compiling a 4-0 record with 51 strikeouts. Greene is currently fourth in the league in ERA (2.31) and is first in the league in strikeouts.
Game time for Fireworks Friday is at 7:15 p.m. with gates opening at 6:00 p.m.
