
Chattanooga Red Wolves Announce First Two Preseason Matches

CHATTANOOGA, TN. - The Chattanooga Red Wolves announced today their first two preseason matches in preparation for the USL League One 2021 season, including an April 10th matchup against Atlanta United II at CHI Memorial Stadium which will be open exclusively to Red Wolves Season Ticket Holders.
Chattanooga will kick off the preseason against Atlanta United II on April 10th at CHI Memorial Stadium, which will be open exclusively to season ticket holders. The Red Wolves will then hit the road for two away matches First taking on Birmingham Legion on April 17th at 2:30 PM CT and then a to be announced USL Championship Club on April 22nd.
Fans will be able to keep up with scores and highlights for all preseason matches via the club's social media accounts.
The Red Wolves will have plenty of new faces this season currently having 11 new signings on the roster to bolster eight players optioned or resigned from Chattanooga's 2020 campaign.
"Preseason is an important window for us," says Head Coach Jimmy Obleda. "Getting our new players integrated into the squad and beginning to create our chemistry is very important. It also gives us a chance to experiment and get creative against talented teams before taking the field at CHI Memorial Stadium on May 22nd in front of all of the fans."
The Red Wolves begin the 2021 USL League One season on the road Saturday May 8th against North Texas SC before returning to CHI Memorial Stadium on May 22nd for Chattanooga's 2021 Home Opener vs Fort Lauderdale CF.
