
Charlie Takes His Show to the NBA

CHARLESTON, SC - Charlie T. RiverDog is taking a road trip and bringing his lovable, over-the-top antics north to Charlotte to make his NBA debut as he will entertain fans of the Charlotte Bobcats when he attends Rufus the Bobcat's birthday bash on Friday, March 6, as the Charlotte Bobcats battle the Atlanta Hawks at Time Warner Cable Arena with tipoff set for 7 p.m.
Known throughout the Lowcountry, Charlie, the loveable mascot of the Charleston RiverDogs, will perform with Rufus and other mascot guests during timeouts along with a special halftime celebration in addition to amusing the fans in the arena throughout the game.
Any fans of Charlie's that can't attend but would like to tune into the game will air on SportSouth at 7 p.m.
Since Charlie is attending Rufus' birthday, the Charlotte Bobcats mascot will travel to Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park on Friday, April 10, and reciprocate by attending Charlie's birthday. The Charleston RiverDogs square off against the Rome Braves. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.
