
Charles Headen Selected as Special Teams Player of the Year

The IFL is proud to announce the Frisco Fighters' Charles Headen III as the Special Teams Player of the Year.
Headen's special team contributions were huge for the 14-2 Fighters in 2023. Headen played in 15 of their 16 regular season games serving as their primary returner.
Headen racked up 1,143 return yards in just 52 returns. His average of 22.0 yards per return was the best among players with 20 returns or more. He also returned a league-high six kickoffs for touchdowns.
