September 3, 2023 - United Soccer League Championship (USL)
Sacramento Republic FC News Release
Even with the team on the road for most of the month, Republic FC continued to connect with its fans and the community through a variety of activities, engagements, and more. The club celebrated a decade of soccer excellence with an exciting charity shootout during halftime of the 10th Season Celebration Match at Hughes Stadium, promoted inclusivity with player appearances alongside Special Olympics athletes, and supported the Yolo County Children's Alliance with soccer darts at a backpack giveaway.
$10k for 10 Seasons
During halftime of the club's 10th Season Celebration Match on August 26, an electrifying charity shootout took center stage, continuing Republic FC's long-standing commitment to the community and setting the stage for the next 10 seasons.
In a thrilling halftime contest, the club honored 10 local non-profits, donating a total of $10,000 to support the various initiatives and causes that they champion right here in the Sacramento community.

Republic FC x Special Olympics Unified Team
After a successful kickoff clinic, the Republic FC Unified Team held its first official practice in August with forwards Luther Archimede and Russell Cicerone in attendance to take in all the action. Formed in July, the team is a collaboration between Republic FC and Special Olympics Northern California that brings people with and without intellectual disabilities together on the same team. It was inspired by a simple principle: training together and playing together is a quick path to friendship and understanding.

Yolo County Children's Alliance Backpack Giveaway
Ahead of the start of the new school year, Republic FC teamed up with the Yolo County Children's Alliance for a backpack giveaway. As over a thousand families picked up new school supplies, the Indomitable Club was on hand to provide some family fun activities and free club swag.
