SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Cleveland Charge (13-18) were swept in a back-to-back set by the Sioux Falls Skyforce (22-10) after a 113-111 defeat at the Sanford Pentagon on Sunday afternoon. Cleveland has been officially eliminated from postseason contention.
The Charge's Sharife Cooper scored 31 points and dished 13 assists for his ninth double-double of the season. Dexter Dennis scored 27 points on 9-of-14 from the field and 4-of-8 three-pointers with six rebounds in 40 minutes. Zhaire Smith scored 16 points and nabbed three steals in 38 minutes. Feron Hunt added 12 points and seven boards in 23 minutes off the bench.
Alondes Williams poured in 45 points on 16-of-23 from the field and 6-of-11 three-pointers with six boards and nine assists in 42 minutes for Sioux Falls. Former Charge G Olin Carter III scored 12 points, including the game-winning three-point shot with 0.6 seconds left. The Skyforce also swept the season series with Cleveland, 4-0.
The Charge are back for the 2023-24 regular season home finale on Wednesday, March 27 at 7:00 p.m. against the Windy City Bulls, where ALL FANS in attendance will walk away with a mystery swag bag giveaway!
