Chance to Win $50,000 at Thursday's Petes Game

(Peterborough, ON) - One lucky fan could take home $50,000 on Thursday when the Peterborough Petes host the reigning OHL Western Conference Champion Soo Greyhounds for the only time this season.

The game is sponsored by Oldies 96.7, who will be giving one lucky listener attending the game a chance to play a bonus contest execution of the Oldies $50,000 Birthday Game. Fans can also visit their table in the PMC's north lobby for their chance to win one of five pairs of tickets to the Oldies 'Win to Get In' Mystery Concert on Friday, October 19.

A second intermission chuck-a-puck will benefit the Trent Business Student Association, while students of Kawartha Heights Public School will perform the national anthem.

Following Thursday's game, the Petes hit the road for games against the Hamilton Bulldogs on Saturday, October 6 at 4:00pm and the North Bay Battalion on Monday, October 8 at 2:00pm.

Tickets for Thursday's game are available through the PMC Collins Barrow Box Office in person and over the phone Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 5:00pm, and 24 hours a day online. Fans can still take advantage of the Season Starter Pack and save over $40 on tickets and merchandise.

Hungry fans should also get their tickets while supplies last for the all-you-can-eat Petesa Party on Friday, October 12. Tickets start at just $10, with proceeds supporting the Petes Education Fund and Roger Neilson House.
