Championship rings available to fans

SOUTHAVEN --- Fans who want to wear a piece of last year's magical Memphis Xplorers championship season have had their wishes granted. For a limited time only, the Memphis Xplorers are making special 2005 ArenaCup Championship rings available to fans.
The rings are being made by Jostens, the same company that made the official rings that players and staff received following the season. A men's and women's ring will be available, with the men's ring selling for $189 and the women's selling for $149. The metal being used in the construction is white lustrium, a chrome and nickel alloy that looks very much like silver.
The rings will feature the ArenaCup logo, the team's 16-3 record as well as the inscriptions "ArenaCup Champions" and "#1 Fan."
The rings need to be ordered through the Xplorers office by July 7. Orders can also be placed during the next two home games, June 17 and 24, at the merchandise stand behind section 106. Fans can then expect their rings to arrive eight weeks after the deadline date. To place your ring order, call the Xplorers office with your ring size at 662-342-1755.

The Memphis Xplorers...2005 ArenaCup Champions
Help the Xplorers and the Northwest Mississippi Association of Realtors "Support Our Troops" when the Xplorers host the Birmingham Steeldogs on Saturday, June 17 at 7pm. The first 500 fans 12 and under will receive a collectible youth jersey compliments of First Tennessee. The first 1,000 fans will also get Miller Lite Can Koozies and miniature American flags. A-D-T will also be handing out CheerStix to all fans. Sam's Town Casino is sponsoring special jerseys the players will be wearing that will be auctioned off after the game to benefit the local troops and their families. Come early for the bike rally held by ABATE of Mississippi and the Sam's Town/Southern Thunder Harley Tailgate Party from 4 to 6. A big screen TV from Giant TV will be given away at halftime. See your local Giant TV location to sign up. With every purchase of a special $15 dollar ticket to the game, $6 will go to help our local troops and their families. For info, call 662-342-1755.
