Tampa Bay Rowdies News Release
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- The Tampa Bay Rowdies slipped to second place in the Eastern Conference due to results elsewhere this week, but top of the East remains tight.
Here are a few of the biggest matches happening in the Eastern Conference this weekend.
Tampa Bay Rowdies vs. Ottawa Fury FC
Saturday, 8 p.m. | ESPN+
For the first time since May 18, the Rowdies will kick off a match not in first place. The Rowdies are coming off a win in Bethlehem last weekend.
Ottawa Fury FC brings a 10-game unbeaten run to Al Lang after a 3-2 win over the Charleston Battery on Wednesday night. Ottawa sits in sixth place in the East.
Indy Eleven vs. Louisville City FC
Saturday, 7 p.m. | ESPN+
Indy moved to first place with a win over Birmingham on Wednesday night, equaling the Rowdies on points and claiming an edge on the first tiebreaker. Indy has won five consecutive matches.
Louisville City sits in seventh place with a record of 2-1-2 in its last five matches, but the two-time defending champions should provide a tough test for Indy.
North Carolina FC vs. Nashville SC

North Carolina has climbed to fifth place thanks to a six-game unbeaten run and now faces a huge match against fourth-placed Nashville.
Nashville hasn't fully clicked yet this season yet still sits in the top four thanks to a seven-game unbeaten run. Nashville played 45 minutes on Wednesday night and led New York Red Bulls II 2-1 in a match that was suspended due to poor weather.
