Tampa Bay Rowdies News Release

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - June is upon us. At least it will be by the time the Tampa Bay Rowdies kick off their match against Birmingham Legion FC on Saturday night.

The Rowdies will put their unblemished league record on the line once again and hope for a June as strong as May was.

Here are a few of the biggest matches happening in the Eastern Conference this weekend.

Birmingham Legion FC vs. Tampa Bay Rowdies

Saturday, 8 p.m. | ESPN+

The Tampa Bay Rowdies haven't conceded a goal in 439 minutes of league action, nearly five matches. In that time, the Rowdies have surged into first place with a four-point cushion and a game in hand.

Birmingham finds itself on the fringes of the playoff picture one-third of the way through its expansion season. Legion FC lost 1-0 to the Rowdies in February in an early preseason meeting.

New York Red Bulls II vs. Bethlehem Steel FC

Friday, 7 p.m. | ESPN+

New York has lost two in a row to fall out of first place and hasn't won since May 1.

Bethlehem currently sits in the last playoff spot despite going winless in its last six matches.

Saint Louis FC vs. Memphis 901 FC

Saturday, 8:30 p.m. | ESPN+

Saint Louis has slipped to fifth in the Eastern Conference, but is only seven points behind the Rowdies with two games in hand. Saint Louis has been shutout in back-to-back league games, a pair of 0-0 draws.

Memphis 901 FC has put together a three-game unbeaten run but still sits in 14th place with 10 points.
