Champions Announce Spring Training Schedule

OTTAWA - As part of the yearly preparation for a crucial season, the Ottawa Champions will bring their training camp roster out to the field for a large set of spring training games in preparation for the 2019 season.

The following is the list of spring training opponents for the Champions in 2019, with dates, times, and locations included. Home games are bolded.

* May 9 vs. Black Sox - 1:05 p.m. - RCGT Park

* May 10 vs. Black Sox - 11:05 a.m. - RCGT Park**

* May 12 vs. Quebec - 3:30 p.m. - Stade Julien-Morin (Coaticook, Que.)

* May 14 vs. Trois-Rivieres - 1:05 p.m. - Stade Stereo-Plus

* May 15 vs. Trois-Rivieres - 1:05 p.m. - RCGT Park

** - school day game.

Tickets for each game will be $5 for adults. Admission is free for children under the age of 13. Parking on-site is free.

This season, the Champions will be hosting international teams for the fourth straight season. The popular Cuban National Team will be making its highly anticipated return to RCGT Park on June 14. Then, the Shikoku Island All-Stars make the trip from Japan in July.
