Ottawa Champions News Release
OTTAWA - The Ottawa Champions Baseball Club today announced three new partnerships to enhance the fan experience at home games. The partnerships with Labatt, Big Rig and Pepsi, will ensure that fans have a wide selection of beer and soft drink brands to choose from when they visit the ball park this season.
The Champions also announced that $5 beers will return to the stadium on Fridays and Saturdays. Labatt will be serving-up $5 Bud Lights in the Zone on Fridays and Big Rig's Premium Pilsner will be available for $5 every Saturday night.
"The addition of Big Rig to the lineup solidifies the Champions' commitment to local craft breweries and small business in the National Capital Region," said Miles Wolff, the team owner. "It's great to see our strategic alliance with the Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group (OSEG) delivering results like these partnerships in such a short time."
Big Rig has three locations in Ottawa - one restaurant on each side of the city, and a brewery in Kanata - and will bring a variety of their popular products to RCGT Park concessions.
The Labatt/Big Rig collaboration at RCGT Park will deliver the following popular beer brands to Champions fans:
Budweiser Big Rig Premium Pilsner Bud Light Big Rig Alpha Bomb Mill Street Organic Big Rig Canadian Amber Goose IPA Big Rig Gold Palm Bay Key Lime Big Rig Bongo Brickworks 1904 Cider Budweiser Prohibition (non alcoholic)
