OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Player Name: Dave Dickenson #12
Player Position: Quarterback
Game: BC (39) vs CGY (31)
Highlights:
Dickenson rushed eight times for 41 yards and one touchdown. Dickenson continued his high completion average, completing 27 of 36 attempts (75%) for 402 yards and one touchdown.
Game Notes:
Dickenson guided the BC Lions to their seventh straight win.
Dickenson's experience and intelligence as a QB is apparent when he plays. The BC pivot never forces the ball into double coverage and will run or even take a sack if necessary, rather than turning the ball over. However, when a wide receiver is open, Dickenson throws the ball with the right touch and precise accuracy.
Dave is a proven winner who leads by example.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Player Name: Korey Banks #24
Player Position: Defensive Back
Game: SSK (17) vs OTT (22)
Highlights:
Banks had one defensive tackle, two pass knock downs, one forced fumble and one interception.
Game Notes:
Banks' fourth quarter interception was the turning point of the game vs. Saskatchewan. He returned the ball 27 yards to put his team in position to score the winning TD.
Banks now has seven interceptions, best in the CFL.
Banks is a big play maker.

LINEMAN OF THE WEEK
Player Name: Matt Sheridan
Player Position: Offensive Lineman
Game: HAM (14) vs WPG (44)
Highlights:
Sheridan was instrumental in protecting his quarterback Kevin Glenn. He also provided key blocks for Charles Roberts.
Game Notes:
Sheridan had the strength to stop the rushing defensive lineman in their tracks. He also had the mobility to pull out from a block and fire out to his next block on the linebackers.
Sheridan was a key blocker in all of Roberts' three TDs.
A phenomenal game!

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Player Name: Corey Holmes
Player Position: Running Back
Game: SSK (17) vs OTT (22)
Highlights:
Holmes returned nine punts for 89 yards and four kickoffs for 102 yards.
Game Notes:
Holmes is an excellent returner. He is always looking for that lane to go the distance.
Every team takes special notice whenever he is set to return the ball. Holmes provides his team with great field position and every so often a return for a touchdown.
