LAURENT COURTOIS
"Tonight was a disappointment beyond the result. There were some interesting sequences, but we lacked competitiveness, solidarity and humility. Tonight was a real setback. We told ourselves after the meeting with the fans that we had to back up our intentions with real action on the pitch. Tonight, we didn't do that. We want to be perceived in a certain way. We promised the fans certain things. We have to keep our word and tonight we lacked humility."
MATHIEU CHOINIÈRE
"We're all in this together. We didn't have our best game, especially in terms of intensity. We weren't up to the task. That's where it starts mentally. Seattle played their cards right. They overloaded us on the wings and broke our press. We still managed to create a few chances. We need to be more decisive in our runs. We weren't going into duels to win them"
JOEL WATERMAN
"Tonight wasn't good enough. We didn't compete or get second balls. That should never happen. This week will be about getting back to basics before talking about tactics. They outworked us and were better than us. We got some good results early in the season. No excuses about a long road trip. We have to come in Tuesday and be prepared to put in the work to put on a show for our fans Saturday. It is on us to be motivated and bring that with us to every match this season. We didn't match Seattle's intensity and desire to compete."
