
Central Hockey League Announces Suspension

GLENDALE, AZ (January 17, 2012) -The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today that Allen Americans forward Brett Clouthier has been suspended for three (3) games as a consequence for leaving the players' bench to instigate a fight with an opponent (on a legal line change- rule 70.2) in the Americans game on January 16 against Tulsa.
Clouthier was assessed four penalties for the infraction including an instigator minor (2), a fighting major (5) a misconduct for instigating (10) and a game misconduct for leaving players' bench (10). As a result, Clouthier will miss Allen's next three games (Jan. 20 and 21 at Arizona and Jan. 24 versus Arizona).
