Your Six-Time Champion Milwaukee Wave is well rested and ready to go as they take on their biggest rival Saturday afternoon at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena, the two-time champion Baltimore Blast.

Kickoff is scheduled for 1:05pm CT.

"It's a huge rivalry for our organization," said Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. "There are some new guys on the team that don't really know the history of it, but for the guys that have been around, they are ready for it. As a team we're definitely embracing it as a big opportunity for us to grow and prepare for the playoffs."

Last season the Baltimore Blast knocked the Wave out of the MASL Playoffs at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena, that loss didn't sit very well with the team.

"I thought we played them (Baltimore) really well in the playoffs last season," said Oliviero. "We've had a year to grow and learn from it. We're looking at this series against them as a chance to sustain home field advantage throughout the playoffs and to keep getting better for when it matters most."

Midfielder/Assistant Coach Marcio Leite on Blast:

"I don't think we need any extra motivation to play Baltimore. I've been here for eleven years and there has always been a rivalry. There is always a little extra something when we play them, because we are the best two teams in the league. It's definitely interesting to play them again, but we're not just going to play them one time. We have three games against them and we need to prepare for those three games. I think it's going to be good to play them and see how they matchup against us, so we can make adjustments for the next game. Hopefully, we get a chance to play them in the conference finals, because I think we'll be prepared."

Defender Stuart Grable on injuries:

"We've been saying the entire season that you should be prepared for chance to play. Injuries do happen in this sport, but we have a strong deep roster. We have just been taking it in strides and running with it. Even though we dropped a couple games, I feel like we're picking it back up at the right time and are feeling good. We're confident in everybody on our roster."
